Council Tax Frozen for 23/24

Darley Dale Town Council is delighted to announce that they are one of the few councils in Derbyshire to have set the 23-24 Precept at the same level as the previous year.

Allowing for inflation, this means a reduction in the amount residents of Darley Dale pay for services covered by the Town Council.

We’ve managed to do this by making ourselves and our services more efficient while at the same time making more progress than ever on our priorities – Community, Environment and Planning.

You can read more about the strides we’ve made and our priorities for the year ahead when we issue our annual report in May. The chart, below, shows how we plan to use the money we receive for the financial year 2023-24.
