The Darley Dale Film Society meets at the Methodist Hall, Darley Dale. Films are screened at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of the month from September – June. All the films are chosen by the members and range from the latest blockbuster to hugely enjoyable classic gems. Films are shown using modern projection and sound equipment to give an enjoyable near-cinema experience.
Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are served from 7:00pm.
Annual membership of the Film Society costs £30 – this gives you entrance to 15 films screened throughout the year together with access to the library of over 200 DVDs. The new season of films will begin on 14 September 2023 with the screening of Empire of Light.
