Following a review of DDTC’s position on the draft plan taking into account the new National Planning Policy Framework 2026 (NPPF), which was released on August 17th 2026 and materially changes planning consideration for Darley Dale, DDTC have amended its recommendation to residents as per the attached document here.
Darley Dale Town Council supports the draft plan conditionally as it believes that adoption of this plan will be in the best interests of the residents of Darley Dale in the long term.
