Last week, Darley Dale Town Council welcomed award‑winning poet Mark Gwynne Jones at Underhall Respite and Resource Centre in Darley Dale for a special event celebrating the history and hidden stories of our town.
Residents took an active part throughout the session, sharing memories, ideas, and local knowledge. Mark’s performance blended poetry, humour, and heritage, offering a fresh and inspiring look at Darley Dale’s past and sparking plenty of conversation along the way.
